A Garland man who fatally beat his wife on the head with a socket wrench while the couple's four children were at home was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison. Theophilus Ojukwu, 47, pleaded guilty to murder this week in the March 25 death of 36-year-old Melvina Ojukwu.
