Several people reported thefts to the Greenville Police Department recently. Following are incidents involving weapons or where losses totaled $500 or more.

DRUNKEN DRIVER KILLS WCU ALUM
Police said Richard A. Smith, 21, and Aaron C. Stidd, 20, a Penn State student from Huntington, were crossing South Atherton Street in State College on Saturday at about 2:30 a.m. when they were struck by a Buick Skylark traveling south on the roadway.

Fatal DUI victim ID'd
STATE COLLEGE - The pedestrian killed by a drunk driver on Saturday near the Pennsylvania State University campus has been officially identified as Richard A. Smith, 21, most recently of the 300 block of East Hector Street in Conshohocken and formerly of Chadds Ford in Chester County.
